Vu Lam joined True Owl in August of 2021. Vu moved to Kansas City from Oklahoma, where he was part of the in-house IT team as a Field Services Manager for a local grocery chain.
Vu did everything from networking to firewall management and vendor relations. He also implemented new equipment, ran cabling, and managed their Microsoft solutions. Vu saw the importance of minimal downtime because each minute of downtime could mean significant revenue loss.
In real time, Vu saw how revamping IT infrastructure, implementing new policies and procedures, and adding redundancy is important when building a successful business. As you see, Vu brings a vast skill set to the True Owl team.

Vu started as a field technician and now serves as a Technical Alignment Manager (TAM for short.) Vu has helped in all areas of the True Owl team from technical support to employee training and implementation. You may recognize Vu because he works with our customers to make sure we are meeting their needs. Vu’s goal is to start by understanding your business. Armed with that knowledge, he is able to leverage IT resources to meet your needs and help you reach your goals.
Before his time in IT, Vu served in the Army for 9 years. While serving, Vu was a paratrooper where he completed over 60 jumps. One day, Vu hopes to be certified to skydive using wing suits.
